CV Tailor is an open-source, client-first web application that helps you tailor your CV to specific job descriptions using AI-powered agents. The service is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use.
2. Your Data and Intellectual Property
Your data belongs to you. All content you create using CV Tailor — including facts, CV drafts, and compiled PDFs — is stored in your browser and remains your intellectual property. We do not claim any ownership or license over your content.
3. Third-Party Services
CV Tailor sends data to OpenRouter for AI processing when you run the pipeline. By using this feature, you agree to comply with OpenRouter's terms of service. You are responsible for providing your own API key and for any costs incurred through OpenRouter.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use CV Tailor to generate fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive CVs
- Misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or credentials
- Attempt to exploit, overload, or interfere with the service
- Use the service in violation of any applicable law or regulation
5. No Warranty
CV Tailor is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose
- The service will meet your specific requirements
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it in job applications.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainers of CV Tailor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the service.
7. Open Source
CV Tailor is open-source software. The source code is available on GitHub and is subject to its respective license terms.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
